When will you add support for international character sets?

 

IzyMail does not manipulate or encode/decode messages in any way. The download mechanism preserves international character encodings simply by passing the message stream through.

Messages may still not not display all characters as expected, if

  • the sending application did not include the correct header to describe the message encoding

and/or

  • the receiving application does not correctly interpret the encoding header.

These settings are outside of IzyMail's control.

For the message to display properly, you may need to experiment with the 'International settings' of your computer and/or your eMail application.
